Let’s Encrypt Free SSL on Bitnami Google Cloud Instance

Recently tried to install a Let’s Encrypt SSL for a client on a Google Cloud instance created using the Bitnami installer portal (Not the Image / AMI). After blowing up the first production server, I decided to use a staging environment to learn how to do this. Thankfully I had full backups and had created an image using the Google cloud console. This allowed me to quickly re provision the server and apply the static IP I had reserved for it.

Below is what I found after exhaustive research and the steps taken:
